Use Custom Statistic for both Cash Games & Tourneys

Hey Team,

I created a Cash Game statistic. Can I use it for Tourney play as well?

Not directly but you can convert cash game statistics into tournament statistics by selecting the cash game statistic in 'Configure -> Statistics' and then on the details tab choosing 'Options -> Convert'.

Thanks. Does that then make the statistic simultaneously available to both Cash Games and Tourneys?

Cash game data and tournament data are stored separately so if you want to use a custom statistic for both games it will require a cash game version and a tournament version. Cash game statistics cannot be used for tournaments or vice versa.

Ok. So is it correct to assume that if I want the stat for both Cash Game and Tourney play, I must first duplicate the stat and then convert one of them to the other game format?

You don't need to duplicate the statistic - you can just action the conversion on the original custom statistic.
