How to remove aliases

I am wondering how I can break alias links. I know how to make a player and add aliases but I don't see anywhere how I can remove aliases.

If you click the 'Alias' icon for a player then in the same window where aliases are added there is a 'Remove' button which will unlink players from that alias.
