Hangs when installing PostgreSQL

Okay, got it working on both computers now. Here is what I did. I googled the error when it was unrelated to postgresql or pokertracker. The common theme was problems with antivirus software. I read where a guy had to manually go through his registry after removing the software and delete every reference to his antivirus. So that is what I did. I did a registry seach for iolo and sysmech and then proceeded to delete the many many files that were left on my computer after Iolo's guidelines for a "thorough uninstall" lol. I did manually look for each file though to make sure that it was an iolo file and not just another file with those 4 characters strung together. Also, if anyone else needs to do this, please backup your registry before you begin. It will save you much heartache if you accidentally delete the wrong files.

I had a feeling it was not specifically related to PostgreSQL; however, I would have never been able to help resolve this problem (since it was related to an old A/V install).
