So we can see what's going on here and advise you accordingly please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce this issue and then attach your support bundle to a
Support Ticket where a technician can review your logs. The support bundle is created via the 'File -> Create Support Bundle' menu option in PokerTracker 4.

For those who run into the same problem.
After doing every step stated on pt4 suggestion it didn't work. So I decided to delete the database and start from scratch again. I decided to upload the hands in different chunks of hands instead of uploading 6M at once I split in 4 chunks of 1.5M hands they uploaded smoothly and everything worked fine.
to upload a single file with 1K hands PT4 takes 3seconds
while I was doing the first attempt at about 5M+ it started to upload slower taking up to 120secs for the same 1K-hands file. That is the same problem that happens after trying to get hands while you are playing it takes up to 120 to get 1 hands and that slows down everything no hud etc. Hope this helps everyone who is having the same problems and also for devs to do the same test with larger databases try to upload 6M+ hands to check why it takes 3seconds at the beginning and 2minutes at the end.

Seconding the post above mine
Recently started getting an "Importing is taking a long time" etc. alert notification when I started playing my session. Was even causing my computer to lag out the last couple times I tried playing. Tried everything to improve import speed from the housekeeping manual, ran a memory check overnight that was clear, etc.
Today I created a new DB for the new year and imported a few hundred thousand hands in like five minutes and am able to play sessions w/ no issues. Seems to be fixed.
