Poker Mavens Converter for Tournamets - Import Errors

Postby bcruey » Wed Feb 19, 2025 3:29 pm

Hi PokerTracker Community,

I’m developing a Python script that converts Poker Mavens tournament hand history files and tournament summary files into the OHH format for importing into PokerTracker. The script successfully processes STTs, SNGs and MTTs, but I’m encountering import errors, specifically:

  • "Error: Standardized: Invalid stack: Player5 (Hand #196-47) (Line #12036)"
  • "Error: Standardized: Invalid pot size (8150.00 vs pot: 9150.00 rake: 0.00 jpt: 0.00) for hand #247-98 (Line #22781)"

I have noted that the Invalid Stack Size Error is happening when a player is All-In. I’d appreciate any insights into what might be causing these errors. Are there specific OHH format requirements for stack sizes and pot calculations that I might be missing when converting Poker Mavens hand histories?

Additionally, do I need to import the tournament summary separately for PokerTracker to correctly track prizes and winnings? Right now, none of the prize/winning information transfers over, and I have to enter it manually. While that works, I’d like to automate the process if possible.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bryce
