Lots of ERRORS when importing from PR

Postby JBMSweden » Fri Jun 27, 2008 7:15 pm

I've recreated the database file three times but I still get lots of errors.
The errors are the following;

"Error finding the blinds for game #P4-70851140-432"

"Error finding player pokerdepp11 checks, malky6173 bets $1, pokerdepp11 folds.malky6173 that appears in showdown section (1) for game #P4-70851140-438.
This usually indicates that one or more of the board cards was not found in the PokerRoom database file so that the SHOWDOWN line appears in the wrong place."

"Error - duplicate seats found for game #P4-70855849-359.
This error is usually indicative of the hand history information being improperly recorded in the PokerRoom (or skin) database file."

"Error with board cards for game #P4-70862720-210."

"Error finding the pre-flop action for game #P4-70855849-356.
This error is usually indicative of a hand where a player making a betting action is not listed in the seating section of the hand history."

Any thoughts....?

This indicates the Ongame database file you have PT importing from is corrupt.

Under the Statistics menu on the lobby window you need to select "Advanced" > "Create Statistics File". Give it a name and then it will start to use a different file than the one that is corrupted. In Poker Tracker, on the File/Auto-Import PokerRoom (and skins) Hand Histories window click the Configure Hand History Files button and tell PT about this new file. Note also that you can delete the pointer to the older db file so PT doesn't keep trying to look at that each time and continue giving errors.

Are you sure you removed the pointers to all the other Ongame database files so that you just have PT reading from the current one being used now?

Are you using Vista?

These are not caused by Poker Tracker so there isn't anything PT can do to prevent Ongame from writing bad hand histories.

I am absolutely sure that I removed all the pointers.

And I use XP...

Seems like it's Ongame who is at fault....

Try starting another new database.
Are you playing at a lot of tables at the same time?

I am 4- or 5 -tabling...

And I've got about 1 million hands in my DB...not to keen to start a brand new one considering how long it will take transfer all hands,...

But you indicated that it was likely that Ongames HH's that are faulty....and then it wouldn't help if I started a new DB would it?

No, I mean start a new Ongame database like I described above NOT a new PT database.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling whatever Ongame software you are using. I don't know why it's doing this.
