Razz/GT/Table Averages All the Same.

Postby TomBrooklyn » Fri Jun 20, 2008 6:19 am

Playing 2 tables of Razz. While GameTime shows the Table Average BB/100 for each table as a different amount, it shows the Averages for vpip, pfr, WSD & WSD exactly the same for both tables. I've seen this before and it can't be right as the odds against two or more tables always having exactly the same stats would be huge. What's going on with these stats?

So you are saying you have different external gametime windows open for each table and both table's table average numbers are the same except for the BB/100? Each window is a separate program running that gets information from the players at the table so as long as the players are different I would expect the numbers to be different.

I've seen this before...

Is it always like this when you have two gametime windows open or it just happens to be this way sometimes?

Hi Mike,
Yes, two external GT windows. I have noticed it several times. I will let you know what it looks like the next time I play Razz or Stud, which I do only infrequently.

Hi,

I was just playing Stud on 3 tables. All three had same vpip, 3rd raise, and W$SD, Two had same WDS and the 3rd was 1% different from the other two. The BB/100 was different for each table.

Now I'm playing Stud H/L on two tables. Both show exactly the same stats except BB/100 and WDS was 1% different, then it became the same also shortly later.

I just realized what the tables are showing. Their showing MY stats rounded off to the nearest percent as the table stats, except for BB/100. That's why those 4 stats are always the same. I don't know where the Table BB/100 is coming from. Maybe from the table.

So, what's going on with this?

OK, now I see what's happening. Click the Preferences... button and check the "Don't Include My Stats" box. Since you have so many hands in your database for your own playing style the GT window results are being skewed to look almost like your own stats all the time.

LoL. Oh yeah. OK.

The only place I found "Don't Include My Stats" though is under the Summary Tab. I'm done playing for now, so I'll check if that worked later.

Thanks. Cheers.

That checkbox is located on the window that opens after you click the Preferences... button that's in the middle of the GT window.
