The computer started running very slow. With PT3 open, I pulled up the task manager and found 11 postgres.exe processes running, 3 of which were using 35,000+ of memory. This was with no Poker Sites running.
I shut PT3 down and restarted it. 10 postgres.exe processes running 2 with 35,000K and one with 16,000K, the rest are between 6 and 8000K of memory... Is this normal?
When I shut down PT3, I still have 7 postgres.exe running, one of which is using 38,000K of memory.
I did some research and found out when I upgraded, I shouldn't have upgraded with PostgresSQL, as I already had it installed, but the popup, wasn't specific, thought I should go "with". Anyway, now I'm wondering if I'm running 2 PostgresSQL or more, as I upgraded the same way at least twice.
Running a pentium 1.73GHz with 2 GB of ram on a Dell laptop with XP Pro SP3.
I mutitable MTTs on FT and PS at the same time, with 6 or more tables up, I sometimes get so bogged down it times me out...
I have a new Hard Drive and will be doubling the size of the HD from 80 to 160, using about 1/2 the HD on the 80 now.
Any help appreciated. I'm a techno dweeb, so you'll have to spell it out.
