Update to beta4 says need to create new db

I see the problem. We may need to re-release B4 so that this doesnt happen to everyone...

Open "My Computer" and browse to your main PokerTracker 3 directory then go Data/Config. Open "PokerTracker.cfg" in Notepad. Scrolls down and look for [Tabs]. Change the following lines to:

[codeif4]Last:WindowMain=0
Last:WindowImport=1[/codeif4]

File->Save, Start PT3. Before switching any tabs, immediately create a new database and set it as your default/active database so that this does not happen again.

Hi. I play sng's and have spent the last fortnight entering results into PT3. Will these be lost if I install Beta 4?

They will not be lost but they will not be usable...

I would recommend not doing such manual, time consuming work during these early beta stages as you may need to create a new database with new versions. The further we get in beta testing the less likely you will need to do this.

Anyone who downloaded within a few hours of release, please download again. A last minute bug that was causing the lockup problem was fixed and pushed out.
