moving HH's from one pc to another

Postby ouird » Tue Aug 05, 2008 7:18 pm

I have a Laptop that runs VISTA, with about 2gb worth of HH's in my PT DB
Id like to take these and move (copy) them to my desktop database which runs XP.
i burnt all of my HH's from my laptop onto a DVD rom.
can i just insert these into my current PT Handhistory file then import them to my desktop?
both of which i am running a postgreSQL DB

sorry if this has been discussed, i couldnt find it.

is there perhaps an easier way?
Does it matter that I have to run VISTA in Admin, and not xp?

thank you in advance.

It doesn't matter, the only thing different about Vista is you have to run your poker software as administrator, see this FAQ
