Tutorial: How to Make Sure PAH is Not Running

Postby APerfect10 » Sat Feb 16, 2008 1:44 pm

Occasionally we will ask you to make sure that PAH is not running. This tutorial was designed to be a reference for those situations.

  1. If PAH is not located in your taskbar or your system tray, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL which will open your "Windows Task Manager"
Note Microsoft Vista users: You will need to choose "Start Task Manager" after hitting CTRL-ALT-DEL
  2. Select the "Processes" tab
  3. Click the "Image Name" field to sort the processes by name. Clicking the field again will sort in the reverse order.
  4. Scroll down and search for PAH.exe
  5. If PAH.exe is not found, PAH is not running and you can stop here.
  6. If PAH.exe is found, right click PAH.exe and select "End Process".
Note: You may need to repeat this step if there are more then one PAH.exe process listed. Close them all!
  7. Now PokerAce Hud is no longer running. You can close your Task Manager window and continue
