I have already started updating the cache but after reading this issues id rather wait till it has been resolved. PT3 wont let me stop the process it says "the housekeeping process will cancel after the current action is complete." Should I just use the task manager to stop it or can it cause some damage to the DB?

Booger, you will need to let the cache build, so let it finish.
This is the first release of the cache and it's pretty unsophisticated so far, so you need to let it build.

Running it again doesn't change anything, I tried twice with the same result.

Same here. I've run it multiple times without error but upon program restart it says the cache is not populated. I have PostgreSQL 8.3 and XP SP2.
