Yes, you would, but I don't think you need to uninstall PT3.
All you need to do is re-install postgres - this is completely separate from PT3.

As for your reg code - are you logged into the forum with the same user as you used when you bought PT3?
You can always re-request your reg code via the Support system if you can't see it on the forum, although you should be able to see it via My Account.

So i followed the uninstall instructions and it seemed to have worked. At least it got me past the step that I had been stuck on. By uninstalling PT3, though, it is asking me to enter a registration code again (which I don't have anymore). Is there any way to supply me with a fresh registration code in order to get this thing up and running once and for all.

I replied to your support ticket and linked your purchase to your account so that your PT3 registration code can now be viewed under My Account -> Registration Codes.

You must have not been logged in during purchase and you entered a different payment email address than the email used to register your website account therefore the system could never automatically link the payment together with your account.
