This error message was written to the error file: C:\Program Files \Pokertracker Stud\pterrorlog.txt. Please send this AND the hand history file that caused the error to pokertracker@comcast.net so that we can diagnose the problem. I usually don't need to see the hand that caused this type of error.

Try using the Utilities > Repair A Poker Database option to fix the file.

You must have. PTS doesn't make up hands. :)

...plus shouldnt the trial version have stopped me at 1K.

The PTS trial doesn't work like that. It's a 30 day, unlimited hands trial.

Is it the exact same error? Is this happening in Poker Tracker Stud or Hold'em?

Hold Em and it is not the same each time. It is the same message, but different hand histories. Just in case you need to know I just made another database, although I have never had this issue with ones in the past.

If you don't mind, please create a new post in the PT Hold'em Support section so Pat can help troubleshoot the problem.

Hello, I am getting a similar database error, and I have tried to repair the database using two different ways (using PTS and using the Windows/Start/etc. one) and it's still a problem. The database error I get is "DBCode: -1206 Error Text: SQLSTATE = S1000
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database 'I'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt. No changes made to database".

This is happening with pretty much every file I try to load into PTS. Can you please help me figure out what's wrong. Thanks.
