Server Connection

Postby Kmacdaddy57 » Sat Sep 27, 2008 10:13 am

Ialready have a service ticket started with support, but I figured i would post here as wel incase anybody else has seen this and knows of a fix. I cannot even get PA HUD to start. It loads and then:

I get a pop up that says "SQL Connection Exception: Failed to connect to datasource: [Micorsoft Access Driver] Too many client tasks."
I have rebooted, and PT2 works with full functionality and I am able to open and any database in my PT2 system. also this happens with bot v1.18 and the newest beta version.

Thank you

No I am running XP pro sp2, dual core, 1gb ram, windows firewall and AV software both enabled and disabled does the same thing....

Is support for this product and Poker tracker the same source......Cause EVERYTIME i have emailed Pat about PT issues he has responded very quickly...

The responses have been timely but the problem remains after trying all their suggestions...

One thing they asked was hopw many DB's in PT I have, I responded "many" but what would that have to do with anything.

For any users of PA HUD - how many DBs do you have ? I only ever play with one active/enabled /open DB at a time.

What application is giving you this error? Is it definitely a PAH error?

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem, and send the PAHud.log file via the Support system so that we can review your configurations and troubleshoot the issue.

The PA HUD application is causing the error. HUD starts up, opens, gives the trial notification box and actually starts, but then, after about 20 seconds PA hud produces this popup error ( sent you this screen shot once already - Support Ticket #33787 )

So the question is for starting the log file: is poker ace HUD Starting?

FYI installed Postgres and converted the db...still same error. Meanwhile I now have 26 days left on my "trial".

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem, and send the PAHud.log file via the Support system so that we can review your configurations and troubleshoot the issue.

I replied to your ticket - please unselect some of your databases.

I understand now what you are asking...I only ever run with one DB enabled / open

The error mentions 'too many tasks'in relation to the database connections.
Try enabling less databases and see if it will connect.
Meanwhile I'll bump this ticket to the development team and see if my hunch is right.

Please let us know whether selecting less DBs helps

I ONLY HAVE ONE DB SELECTED....I ONLY HAVE ONE DB SELECTED...I ONLY HAVE ONE DB SLECTED

Please take a look at the second half of your log file - it connects to every database.

"I ONLY HAVE ONE DB SELECTED"
Where? PT2 or PAH?
