Tournament Updater...use with PT3?

Postby darthbubba » Sat Mar 08, 2008 11:58 am

I mostly play SNG's on FTP, so Tournament Updater from Poker Pro Labs was manna from heaven for a lazy player like me who got tired of manually entering summary data. :)

I'm trying out the PT3 beta, and while I like what I'm seeing so far, I think I'll need to drop back to v2 for the time being, since anytime I try to get TU to run, it gives me this error:

Update failed.
ERROR [42P01] ERROR: relation "tourney" does not exist;
Error while executing the query

I'm assuming this is because the structure of the SQL database is completely different in PT3 beta. Any idea if PPL is working on a new version compatible with the PT3 beta?

You'll need to contact the developer of this application to see if they can add support for the PT3 database.

I have had discussions with their developer and they are working on adding support for PokerTracker 3.

What ever happened with this? I currently cannot get Tournament Updater to work for PT2 or PT3. Postgres8.3 or Access

We don't support that application, you would be better asking on their website.

Works great for me (Postgres8.2) ... You got Version 1.0.10.0 of Tournament Updater?

Are you using PT2 w/ Postgres8.2? I am using version 1.1.10.0 of TU. The funny thing is i tried using an access database from PT2 and it still didnt work. I haver a bunch of tournys without summaries so I'll have to export those from PT3(postgres8.3) from one PC to PT2(postgres8.2) on another PC. Then try TU and export them back to my PT3 DB.

I'm using PT3 with Posgres8.2 - but I can't remember how exactly I made the transition from PT2 to PT3. Not sure if I made a PT2 export or if I just imported the stored hand histories from my HD into PT3. The strange thing is: I have tourneys in PT3 from November 06, but TU just updates tourneys starting from January 07.

I just did a fresh install of Postgres 8.2.6, PT3 beta19 and TU1.0.10.0 on my laptop. I added 11 tournaments without summaries which were all played during 10/12 - 10/13, a two day period that is fairly recent. I loaded up TU and I get the same thing. "Update Complete. There are O tournament(s) updated" I am using a trial of tournament updater and so far have not gotten it to work on 3 computers. Any ideas? The support for TU sucks, still no responses from them.

Sorry, no idea. All I can offer you are my Database Settings:

And uncheck "Skip tournament if the summary has been loaded".
Does it say "Test connection succeeded" when you press Test?
