Changing DB to Postgres after PT3 is installed

I have both PT2 and PT3 installed on my computer. PT2 database is Access and now I would
like to change it to Postgres. Do I have to install Postgres or can I use same one which is used
on PT3 ?

You don't have to install PostgreSQL because PT3 is using that but you are likely to run into this issue....

I was wondering if it possible to import from PT 2 to PT 3 hand histories by using .txt files? I have exported hand histories from PT2 into .txt files so can I
import these files to PT3 ?
