FTP tables listed as PokerStars

Postby skoldpadda » Thu Feb 28, 2008 11:00 pm

I'm playing FTP at the moment and PT3 is grabbing hands, but listing site as PokerStars.

Here you can see the table "Lehman (6max)" on 2/10 is correctly shown as FTP but tonight as Stars

Do you have an alias set between a FTP and PokerStars account? This latest release has a bug with the alias and this is one of the problems. Hopefully we will get this resolved shortly.

I have this problem aswell. No aliases have been manually set up but I have the same user name on Stars and Full Tilt. PT3 just seems to combine all the stats as though I played exclusively on Stars so the Full Tilt data just isnt there for my username.
Shame, cos I like to see which site I am doing better at.

If you can figure out a way to reliably reproduce this problem, it would help me in figuring out what's causing it.

Josh, having the same username on both Stars and Full Tilt causes this problem. If you begin an auto import, PT seems to combine the stats from both sessions as the site which it imports first.
From then on it seems to incorrectly identify Stars players as Full Tilt players or vice versa.

I tend to play sessions at Full Tilt and Stars at the same time so maybe the time stamp on the HH is confusing pokertracker some how?

PT2 handles the same hand history fine fine.
Guess I will wait till your next beta release to see if this gets fixed ;)
Back to PT2...

I have had this same problem, and reported it as an issue via the Ticket system about 10 days ago. My usernames are different on Stars and FTP. I haven't been able to reproduce the problem, though. When I first discovered the issue, I created a test database and then imported the problematic hands. They imported correctly.

The problem occurred again last week, so after the latest Beta release I created a new database and re-imported all of my hands. The hands imported correctly, at least for the two days' worth that I had initially noted as problematic.

I sent a copy of one of the problematic databases and the hand histories to Josh. Josh, have you been able to reproduce the problem?

Josh was out of town the past day or two and got back today. He will be looking into this issue soon...

Yes, I do have the alias set up between the two sites. So likely this is the issue that you're already aware of.
