Connecting through a proxy

Postby BiBA » Mon Nov 03, 2008 7:00 pm

Hey, I'm running PT3 out of 2 environments - my home town, and the town where I'm studying...

I just reinstalled PT3, now here in this dormitory, I'm behind a proxy, I have the details of the http and the socks proxy...

PT3 cannot connect to the licence server, so I can't start it.
Is there any possibility to get PT3 to work from here? I mean, it worked fine before I reinstalled, but it's just impossible to connect to the server.

Add proxy settings in the pokertracker.cfg?

Hello,

We have not yet added the ability to connect to the registration server through a proxy although this feature is certainly coming.

Until this feature is available, we can provide you with a license file so that you are not required to connect to the Internet. Please enable logging, open PT3, enter your registration code and when you receive the failed messages immediately send me your PokerTracker.log file via the PokerTracker Support system and we will provide you with a license file that you can save to your computer that will register PT3.

Best regards,

Derek
