Missing Hands from my PT

first of all i tried to go to your old site it directed me here and i tired to login with PT website login but it is not accepting it so i have to create other account over here.

ok the problem is i compacted my database yst as i was told by a popup to do so and after doing it i am missing many hands from it .

what is the problem here i am running PT on vista and i am running it as adminstraor .

someome help me to fix this problem.

Go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder. Is there a file called ptrack_backup.mdb there? If so, what is the date/time and size of it.

Then click on the Compatibility Files folder/button at the top of the explorer window. Are there any MDB files in this folder, like ptrack.mdb? If you were always running as administrator, this folder should be empty.

You didn't say if there were any files in the comp files folder.

With PT closed, go to the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder and rename the ptrack.mdb file to ptrack_old.mdb and then rename the backup file to ptrack.mdb and open PT again and see if your data is back.

Vista must always prompt you to cancel/allow PT to run. If it doesn't it's not running as administrator.

in the comapatabilit section i have 3 files

hhdb.mdb
ptrack_backup.mdb
ptrack_repair.mdb

now i didnt find and ptrack_mdb file so what u want me to do here shud i jus rename the ptrack_backup.mdb

In the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder NOT the comp. files folder rename the ptrack.mdb file there and then rename the backup file there to ptrack.mdb

You need to be running the program as administrator every time. There wouldn't be those files in the compatibility files folder if you were running it this way every single time you used the program.
