My os array crashed and i re did my os array and then reinstalled postgresql 8.35.1 back onto where data drive was. IT seemed fine until i tried to export hand hisotires or do a vacuum or cluster. NOne of these functions now work and when i do a vacuum, analyze or cluster it sais there is a problem with header with the holdem hand hisotires table and it stops. What is going on. Try these, from the Database / Postgres FAQ..

There are two main reasons for this error. The first is a result of data corruption from a computer crash that requires reindexing your database. You can reindex your database from the PostgreSQL command prompt. Click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Command prompt. At the prompt that appears, type “reindexdb -a” and hit enter. Be aware that if you have large databases this may take a while, so be patient and wait for it to finish.
(If the re-index doesn't work because you are not logged in as user 'postgres' enter: "reindexdb -U postgres -a").

The second reason for this error is a result of faulty hardware. You can set PostgreSQL to ignore these errors by clicking Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Configuration Files --> Edit postgresql.conf. In the configuration file that appears, go to the bottom of the file and add the text “zero_damaged_pages = on” on a new line and then save and close the file. Click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Reload Configuration and PostgreSQL will ignore the damaged data. If you continue to have problems with that hard drive, you should consider replacing it.

If that doesn't help, post back and I'll get someone who knows more about postgres to take a look.

are u sure i am going ot be able to fix this as restoring a backup doesnt work. I will have to use a pt2 backup and then export hh then reimport which is a pain inthe but but timeis money and need to get back online playing asap. THE hand hisotries are there as i can replay specific hand histories just teh table in teh databse for hand hisotries seem to be messed up. anyways i hope this can be fixed. thanks

Sorry, I don't know. The other support guys are in the US but should be online in a few hours.
I don't like the sound of not being able to restore your backup, though - is this a backup you made prior to the re-install? If you can't restore that, then that sounds like a problem with your new postgres install.
