Bug - PT not handling player names with brackets

Hi,

Whenever during import PTS encounters someone with brackets in their name. Import shows "Error finding player who was dealt the 4th Street card for game #xxxxx".

OK, I'll have to fix this for the next patch. In the meantime you can workaround it by opening any the file in NotePad and find/replace all instances of his player name with another name. For instance change [S]m0ker 77 to {S}m0ker 77 then import the hands.

Can I simply rename a player, once they are already imported into PT? If not, then what is the point of doing this work around?

You can't rename a player in PTS, but after I get a patch out you will be able import hands into the real player name then you can set an alias on the General Info tab to the changed player name to combine the stats.
