It's issue #1, not #2, please read it again, it tells you exactly what to do.

Sorry im bad with computers. Fully screwed up now. When I open pokertracker I get
ODCB microsoft access driver login failed could not find file 'C:\programfiles\pokertrackerv2\hhdb.mdb'
I hit ok. Next is login window. I hit database. I select hhdb_old.mdb. Back to login again. I hit ok and im in.

Dont think I know how to "rename the current hhdb.mdb file to hhdb_old.mdb and then download this new file in it's place" I did rename without problem. Then click here- http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/P ... s/hhdb.mdb - then clicked save. I then go to "Go to the Utilities/Database Maintenance and Options window. Click on the Hand History DB's tab at the end of the window. Click on the "Add File" button " select hhdb_old.mdb(there is no hhdb.mdb). Try an import and get error message that ends in "record(s)cannot be added;no insert permission on 'hand_histories'.

Is my pt2 fubar or what? Perhaps I should just reinstall pt2 and loose my db's.

When you save the hhdb.mdb that you are downloading, you need to save it to the folder where you just renamed hhdb_old.mdb.

You need to right-click on that link to the new hhdb.mdb file in the FAQ and select "Save As" or "Save Target As". Then tell it you want to save the file into the c:\program files\poker tracker v2 folder. Then when you start PT again you should not get any kind of prompt, it should open with no errors/prompts.
