Installation error 10013

When installing postgreSQL 8.2.7 I get error 10013 "error binding the test netowork socket" when pressing next in the "initialize database cluster" screen.

What shall I do?

Error 10013 is an access denied error.

Please try disabling your firewall and attempting to install again. Assuming it works, make sure that PostgreSQL is allowed access through the firewall in order to ensure proper functioning of PT3 and PostgreSQL

Tried disabling the firewall but It didnt make it work. The computer is newly formated so there shouldnt be any programs interfearing I think.

Any sugestions?

Try Version 8.2.11 -- it's a newer version in the 8.2 branch anyway and maybe it's fixed part of what's going on.

I'd also consider temporarily turning off an anti-virus or anti-spyware program as sometimes those can cause problems like this too.

I tried it, I also disabled the antivirus, firewall etc but I still got the same error.
What shall I do?
