Hmm, did you leave the database name empty by mistake and can't correct it now? I can see that happening.

You can reset HoldemLuck settings by deleting:
C:\Documents and Settings\<Your User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\HoldemLuck

Make sure oyu put in a DB name this time.

my config file in ...../data/config/pokertracker.cfg??
i cant copy it here and i dont know how to :?

the holdem luck problem seems to come from the impossibility to detect the default database in PT3.

Hmm, I'm not sure but that wierd database name (PT3_2008_09_01_******) may be the problem. It could be that the .NET database driver I use doesn't like it while the native one used by PT3 itself has no problem with it. Not much I can do about that unfortunatly. You could export all your your hands to text files and create a new DB with a conventional name (PT3) and import them back in. That's a lot to ask I know but I'm out of ideas.

I think the **s meant that he redacted his database name . . .

Also, alon, does HoldemLuck leave extra relations in the database? I just want to make sure those came from HoldemLuck (hhps, holdem_pot, holdem_pot_id_seq, specifically).

Well, I thought it might have been that but I found it strange, maybe he has his name on it or something.

Poster, if you are reading this, make sure you use the exact string for the database name, copy paste it from PT3 or the config file. I noticed in you post that you had a '-' instead of an '_' but that may be a typo in the post.

Yes, I create 2 new tables. holdem_pot for holdem_luck and tourney_holdem_pot for SnGLuck. I didn't notice any ill effects by doing that in the PT3 database.

I don't anticipate any problems either, I just thought I'd check and make sure that was the source in case anything comes up with people having problems later.
