PT Tournament Data Gone After Conversion to PostgreSQL

Postby natesteiner21 » Thu Mar 06, 2008 11:59 pm

I made the conversion last night and once I got everything to work and started up PT all of my ring game stats where there but the tourney stuff was not. I've checked the filters and they are all off/not working. One thing that is strange is that in the misc. stats page and the position stats page I have information that is obviously left over from tournaments that I can't see at this point.

Another issue I'm having after the conversion is that the table overlay no longer works using the SQL database. It still works using the Access database but not the SQL database.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I'm also using PAHUD.

You need to tell PokerAce to use the new database...

Did you get any errors with the conversion? Did it say in the status section that it completed successfully?
Are you sure there are no filters, did you click the Remove All Filters button on the Preferences tab?
This data looks OK when you open the old Access database?

Actually now that you mention it I did encounter a couple of errors. I have the log file but it's all greek to me. I can attach it if you need me too. Should I redo the conversion?

I'm sure all of the filters are off.

The data looks fine in the Access database.

Yes, do the conversion again. If it pops up with any error messages, please make sure to write them down before closing the prompt.

Alright, I've done as asked. There is a lot of information on the error messages.

What exactly am I looking for? The first message is an error message the second message is actually a tournament history.

What info do you need?

Open the Utilities > PostgreSQL Settings window.

The ODBC Entry To Use field should be "PostgreSQL Unicode" and the Encoding should be "UNICODE"

Change these values, save the changes and then try to convert the db again.
