Just downloaded Poker Hud--Trial

I have Poker Tracker v.2.17.01g. I downloaded Pokerace Hud v.1.19.5 Beta. Was that the correct one to download?

I am running Poker Stars but I see N/A for stats. I made the minimum 0. What is default setting under general for "hands used for averages"? I accidently made that Zero when I changed Minimum hands required. Under General I see boxes to check for Table Averages--am I supposed to click those to view Stats?

When I go to Windows explorer to view Hand Histories under Poker Stars--there are NONE under my current screen name. I recently did a One-Step Compact after being notified to compact from a pop-up. I also recently created a new database and made that my default--I did nothing else but create new database (not sure if I was supposed to doing something to link it with something).

Please help.

Yes, the latest beta version 1.19.5 was the best choice to install.

'Hands Used for Averages' is the last number of hands used to calculate the table statistics.

Make sure that your new database is selected in PokerAce Hud under Options->Preferences->Databases->Holdem

First off: Does poker tracker/Hud work and give me stats if I'm only watching a table and not sitting and playing? So far I've only watched and I have a bunch of N/A for data.

2nd: In my previous post I mentioned that if I go to Windows Explorer>Program Files>PokerStars>HandHistory>ScreenName: There are NO hand histories anymore. Is this right? Does Tracker/Hud change where hand histories are stored? Are histories supposed to stop storing in my Poker Stars directory?

I have selected my new database under preferences in Hud--but if these are brand new oppenents that are not in either database would that really matter?

Pokerstars will only write hand histories for hands you are involved in, not for observed hands, so this will be why you are not getting any stats.

Do you have PokerTracker configured to move your processed files via the PT Import window? If you do, this would make sense that PokerTracker would have archived the files.

Double check to make sure that your PokerStars client is configured to save hand histories. In the PokerStars Lobby go Options->Instant Hand History Options and make sure 'Save My Hand History' is checked. The directory configured here is the exact directory that should be configured in PokerAce Hud under Options->Preferences->Poker Sites->PokerStars

If they are brand new opponents it will not matter but since you are importing your new hands into this database then it needs to be selected in PokerAce Hud or you would never have stats displayed...

Stats are showing now but not right next to player. I am playing 6 person on Stars on have it set for seat 4 preferred seat. Layout manager on Hud is set to Stars and 6 person.

Make sure that you are using the latest beta version which is required for preferred seating to work correctly on PokerStars. The stats will not shift until you are dealt into a hand and that hand has completed.

I am using the suggested beta version. Since it is not working properly, I decided to try to unclick preferred seating on Stars and do the same on HuD. My stats are still not in the proper place.

It sounds like your stats may be positioned incorrectly in your layout.

In the Layout Manager, select PokerStars and your table type (size). Make sure that stat's for player 1 are in seat 1's location. Seat one is located at one o'clock and the seats count upwards going clockwise around the table.

Also make sure that your client language is set to English...

It was because I had the Theme set to Saloon. I definitely prefer the dark background however. I tried downloading your Preset Layout zip file and downloaded into the PokerHud directory but when I click to import I cant find it in the PokerHud directory..... this is so annoying!!!! I think I should stop with computers!!!
