I don't know if your app is the right place to put this, but it's luck-related and it looks like you have the data... I've often wondered how lucky I've been in getting cards in a tourney. I'm talking about starting hands. Am I getting my fair share of good starting hands; am I getting too many bad starting hands. Am I right that I was card-dead in that last tournament? And so on.

Some choices would have to be made as far as hand rankings go -- is Sklansky-Chubukov the one to use? -- but once you've made that choice it seems all you need to do is make a lookup in a lookup table, calculate percentages at the end, and compare to expected frequencies.

Although I'm probably missing something.

I second this. Reviewing starting hand probabilities and actualities seems in a similar realm. I know there was a program written called LuckMeter that would do this for earlier versions of PokerTracker, but not PT3. My most common starting hands in my cash games are (in order): 54o, 52o, 42o, 83o. Seems a bit skewed, doesn't it? 54o currently appears 2.27% of the time, when it should be around 0.90%. My sample size is small (625 hands), but it would be nice to have a program do analysis on this. Excellent applications, btw!

hey

I'm having trouble with Tourney luck since a while. It seems to be picking up some hands randomly (not only allin hands) and takes them in consideration in the graph. It also misses the real allin hands.

I import first my hand histories with Holdem manager, then import the processed files with PT3. Importing on PT3 seems to work fine, without errors

Any idea?

Thanks a lot, and congrats again for this useful tool

Anyone know why this is happening?? Four cards in the villains hand?? Equity is not matching with Pokerstove.

Looks to me like the hand number is repeating and the second copy has the extra cards worked into the equation. I'm guessing this could affect overall results.

A link to my HLgraph. Dunno how to copy it directly. http://www.gratisupload.dk/download/21574

Given the large sample, im suspecting that something is wrong. 90% of hands are from Boss Media.

Great tool btw.

Best regards

4 cards would indicate two opponents in the pot with you, but that's an odd duplication going on with the first one you highlighted.

gotcha.... it's calculating the side pot. That is why the hand duplicates because the short stack is all in and the equity has to be calculated twice.

Any chances ho include equity for each street? Many times the opponents catch a lucky card and outdrawn us when we put all in the center... So we played well, but your program tells us the opposite

The program does not support Windows XP 64bit.
Is it possible to make it avaliable for that platform ?
