New Release: 3.00 build 4

I installed Build 4 and now the program won't open-Splash screen comes up and hangs-left it there overnight and no change.

How do I go back to Build 3?

That's just one possible solution . . . I don't play a lot of tournaments, personally, but I can't imagine that I'd make any different action upon seeing that someone was 0/2 lifetime in big sunday tournaments. A player of literally any skill level can bust early from two tournaments.

And I doubt you're going to have regulars that you'd have 100+ results on that you'd never sat at a table with.

Maybe not for the really big ones, however there are plenty of players that play a lot of MTTs where the stat is useful.

Also, don't forget multi table SnGs. There you will get much more people that play a lot and where you will have hands for some tourneys in combination with just results for other. Thus you will get good stat to use even when you have no hands.

Depending on how this purge is implemented, it will be useful or not. If I can define it so it only removes players that have a few finish positions, and no hands in any of them and that are older than x months, then I can see a use of it. But if it will simply remove every entry where a user only has a finish position, even though they might have hands in other etc, then it wont be useful for me.

Are you using Vista?
This issue can be to do with your firewall preventing things starting - please try disabling it temporarily while you start PT3 and if that helps you will need to configure your firewall to allow PT3 and postgres full access.

Some Vista users have reported that switching back from "Aero" theme to "Vista Basic" solves this.

If that doesn't help, Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log file to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

No, sorry. This will be added once import and export of layouts is added. You will be able to use the HUD in the Replayer in the next beta release, and I guess it's possible that this will trigger more work on layout config (although I am only guessing).

That should hopefully resolve the problem, yes.

You're the only person who seems to be having extreme slowness in these newer versions though, so if that doesn't resolve it for you, please follow up; I'd like to get this fixed for you.

He's not the only one. I had the same problem when I upgraded from Beta 23 to Beta 24 (I created a thread about it - was during a Sunday tourney session). It was bad enough that I went back to Beta 23 on the recommendation of another member. Going back solved the problem but hearing the stuff in here makes me wary of upgrading now for fear of havin the same problem again.
