Doesn't work for me. I get "Timeout while connecting to server" message.

Please double check to make sure you have your username and password typed in correctly; that the port is 995 and the use SSL tickbox is checked. It should be working properly (I just checked).

Have checked a dozen times. Oh, actually, I think I know what the problem might be. I have Outpost running so it might
be getting in the way. I'll try to put it in the Learning mode to see if it would add an exception.

Yeah, an aggressive firewall could definitely cause that sort of problem. A very quick "Server Timed Out" message can mean that PT3 couldn't get to the server at all.

I too am having the same issue with PT3

Double checked all my settings, PT2 connects no worries.

PT3 has an almost immediate timeout issue.

Would my firewall have different responses to each PT? Let 2 connect but not 3.

Thx

It could; try disabling your firewall and see if that helps.

okay , I got home. AFG virus/firewall disabled, Windows in-house firewall disabled.

Still no luck with PT3.

Any other suggestions sir?

Please enable logging (Configure --> Options --> Logging Enabled and restart PT3) and attempt to import from email then attach the C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log to a support ticket and we'll take a look to see if there's any extra information in that log file that might explain what's causing this for you.

Problem resolved, it was the Outpost after all. I had it running in the "hidden" mode, when it just blocks everything it doesn't have exceptions for,
and its icon doesn't show up in the taskbar notification area. So I just made the icon appear by going to Start-->Programs-->Agnitum Outpost, tried to
import from gmail again, and Outpost promptly responded by asking if I wanted to add an exception.

Dan,

Thanks for the update, I'll make sure to add Outpost to my list of programs that can have problems.
