Hands are not being displayed in Ring Game Player Statistics

Postby younggunz » Wed Mar 12, 2008 1:43 am

Hey,
I recently created a new SQL database and have started playing/datamining with it. The hands are importing fine but the hands are not showing up when I go to view them via "Ring Game Player Statistics" I have all filters off so this makes no sense to me at all. I have over 10 different databases set up and running fine so I am clueless to why this is broken. Need help plz !

You are sure the hands are going into this new db? Go to the Observed Hands tab of the auto-import window. Is the database listed there the one you expected or is it a different one?

The DB in the observed hands tab is the same one that I am supposed to be importing into. Any other ideas?

You are sure that there are no filters? The title bar of the ring stats window when you open it for this database says just "Ring Game Player Statistics" and there are no other filters mentioned?

100% sure no filters. I have spent so much time trying to figure out what is wrong. My other databases work fine. I have even went through my other databases looking for all the hands that I have been importing the past two weeks but can't find them. Could this have anything to do with the fact that I had to replace my mdb file because I had to many hands? I have been backing up the hands on PT3...is it possible to export hands from PT3 to PT2? I would be using PT3 but PA does not work with it.

I don't think PT3 has an export option yet.

If you are using PostgreSQL, any MDB file you changed shouldn't have any impact. Are you using PostgreSQL??

Have you been importing your own hands into this database? If so, use the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window and select your name from the list. Does it display any data, recent sessions? If not the data isn't in this database.

Yes I am using PostgreSQL.
No, I haven't imported any hands into this DB because I haven't been playing...just datamining new games on FTP.

You can still open the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window and select any player name from the list.
Are there any player names there? If so, are there any recent sessions?

Also, please don't take offense, I need to ask....are you positive that the database on the observed hands tab is the same PostgreSQL db? I know you said it was but please verify that. Check the name of the db listed there then go to the File > Maintain Database Names window. Find this name in the list...is the database type "PostgreSQL" for it and not "Access"? I'm just thinking that since this was a new DB there is no way to make a NEW PostgreSQL db without having the create a new Access DB and then convert that new DB to PostgreSQL. Is that what you did?

There are no player names listed in the Maintenance and option windows.
Yes, I am positive the database on the observed hands tab is the same PostgreSQL DB.
Yes, it is a PostgreSQL type in the "Maintain poker tracker database names" window. Yes I created a new Access DB and then converted it to PostgreSQL

*I just looked in the default access DB and found the hand histories imported there...DOH. I guess I will try and convert it again...
For now, this is all I need until you guys get a working HUD up for PT3.

Thanks for the awesome support. This is why you guys will always have my business.
