PostgreSQL is working fine, I was referring to the hud program "grindunumb" posted about. After it downloads I get an start script error when I try to run it. I know this isn't a pokertracker product I was just hoping someone else on here had the same problem and could help me figure it out.

Hey,

On the Docs, page did you link to & download the program AutoIt3? You'll need that first. If you downloaded the EXE for his HUD, create its own folder. Its better to have it close to a root directory. The program has issues if its several folders deep or long names. Run that HUD exe in the folder, it will expand some files. You then run the EXE it creates, and configure you PTS Postgresql settings. Post back if you have a problem.

Yea I have downloaded autoit 3. I think I have it working now just when I try to configure it, its says it cant find my database.

How exactly do you launch the hud? is it >file >pokertracker? When I do that it ask me for a username and password?

Make sure you did this part to connect it to your Postgresql DB.

"So you're going to need to configure my poker program to connect to your postgres database. Fire up the program and go to the Config->Options menu item. The only thing in the config window right now are the postgres settings. Specify your postgres settings (hostname, database, user, password) and click "add". You can right-click on existing databases to edit or delete them. Click "Accept" or "Apply" to apply the changes. "

Rusty's new version supports an access database, so no need to convert to Postgre anymore. Is there any other reason you might want to convert to postgresql?

Every reason. For one every other tracker you will ever use has it. HEM, PT3, PokerHands, PT-Stud (option), PT-Omaha (option), SharpStats. It is much much faster and takes up less space. It is more efficient and powerful in every way. A direct result you would see is the HUD being much quicker and the tracker using far less resources.
