Icon Tournament

I really need to have Icon for tournament. Anyway I can bypass the thing and using the cash Icon ? Then I will manually edit Cash Icon to what I need.
I'm probably moving to PokerStars soon and I really need to quickly identify who is bad and good. At FTP i'm using the color coding note by at PS I can't !

At the moment when I try to use the exact format of val_icon and Player Statistics, PT3 simply crash,

I know autorating is not useful with tournament but Icon is !
All the work is done, you can modify Player Icon in the tournament tabs, etc. but, please tell me if i'm wrong, you can't put the icon for tournament

At the moment the player icon is not available for tournament play. It is something that has been requested several times and we are planning on adding it but I do not know at what point it will be available.

It really frustrating to see a function being added for cashgame like 8 month and not yet implanted for tournament.
This is really an important feature for SnG and tournament ! If you gave me the choice of having stats in hud or just Icon in hud, I will choice the second one, no doubt about it !
Please add it !



ps. I won't say it easy to had a feature in a program like pt3, but I doubt is not the toughest thing to do

The problem with this in tournaments isn't technical, it is that people play very differently at different stages in tournaments depending on the situation; so a one-size-fits-all icon isn't really going to give you very useful information.

I'm not asking for auto-rate for tournament it totally useless (for cash game is close to useless at higher stack imo)
I just want to be able to display the Icon ( I set it myself) in hud. For some reason, PT3 doesn't allow me to do it (crash when I try to). Everything is been implanted but I can't find a way to do it

That icon is their cash [auto-rate] icon - there isn't a tournament-specific icon and you can't add it to your tournament HUD. This has been requested and is on the list for consideration by the development team, but it isn't possible at the moment.

But why we are restricted to use it in cash game ? The information is located at the same place where player name and flg_note is. I don't see why we can't use val_icon in a tournament hud

I think what he means is to give us the ability to just assign a selected icon to any player in the tournament. I myself would appreciate this option.

Here’s how I see this:
Add it to the combo box and tie it to the (cash) Payer Icon field, if the player exists in the DB and he as an icon, display this icon.

If a player is good, he should be good in tournaments too. The same goes for the poor players. Why not just do it like that for the moment. At lease, it would give us an idea of what kind of player we're dealing with.

We are looking into options for the player icon, unfortunately I don't know when any changes to this specific feature are going to be rolled out at this point.

Eric Poker, Repo: I have the solution!

The icons would be nicer, but you can color code the players with a little trick:

1, Make a column in the Holdem Tournament Player Statistics section:
- Name: icon_number
- Expression: player_real.val_icon

2, Colorcode the player (or any other) statistic. For example:
- Condition Expression: icon_number=2 {2 is the code of the "good player" icon, you can figure the rest out}
- Check the HUD box
- Set the color to red, and voila, you got the playername in red of the players that have the icon set to "good player".

3, Repeat 2, with the icons and colors of your choice.
