PT3 and PTO, also some HUD popup issues

1) Running PT3, PTO, and PokerAce HUD simultaneously - what kind of problems can this cause? I've been noticing some serious lag issues, but I'm also concerned about file import, processing, and moving files.

2) With PT3, I'm running a souped-up version of Kraada's HUD, however, I have altered the display to show the same stats for Hero as for everyone else. However, the Hero popups are empty. I was hoping to use the popup to ensure that the output for new stats was correct, is there any way to fill in the data?

(1) It shouldn't be causing any problems. What version of PT3 are you running? If you aren't using Beta 27.1, try upgrading to that, and if you haven't run housekeeping in a while, give that a try as well.

(2) The popups should work for Hero just as well as anybody else; are you sure you linked the proper popup to the hero group? You might also want to try waiting a little bit to see if the stats populate.

Actually (2) combined with (1) does imply that you likely haven't updated your cache recently so it might be worth doing that again even if you think you've done it fairly recently.

Thanks for the confirmation that PT3 and PTO don't interfere with each other. I do have some remaining questions about the popup displays, though.

When I was writing my post, the popups for the entire table were not filling in, but that problem somehow corrected itself before I finished writing. However, I just sat down and the problem is recurring. I am running beta 27, and I have updated my cache within the last week (haven't played a lot since then either, 1K hands max).

I'm wondering if the problem may somehow be related to my hardware - my battery is totally dead, and before it died I had a few system crashes, none of which occurred with PT3 running. I also had my motherboard replaced yesterday - everything else is OE. Could this be the cause of the problem? If not, then what could it be?

A few other pieces of information that may be relevant: I have 30% of my hard drive available, and ran a disk defrag within the past couple of weeks (long before the problem started). I've created a lot of new stats lately, and have updated my cache since the most recent stats. The updates take a long time, about 40 minutes, although I only have about 45K hands.

System crashes can cause problems, although if you weren't running PT3 at the time then hopefully it shouldn't have corrupted your databases.

It's more likely just to be working your system hard.
What spec is your system? Processor, RAM, etc.

Try another defrag, but stop the postgres service (as well as all other applications) before you run it. (Start > Programs > Postgres > Stop Service)

Try running check-disk (Start > Run; type "chkdsk"). If it reports any problems you can let it repair them.

Ran the disk check, which didn't find any problems. Also defragged and ran housekeeping again. I just sat down for my first session since, and the problem persists, but only for hero popup stats.

I'm running Windows XP with an Intel Core2 1.66GHz processor, 2G RAM, 80G hard drive with 20G free.

Hero stats are always for the given session; are you certain you have done things in the given session that would cause those stats to get filled in? Otherwise they will come up as NA.

That's not the problem - the stats aren't coming up "NA" - they're not filling in at all. I took some screenshots and attached them to a support ticket (59487) so you could see what I meant.
