PostgreSQL Installation Wizard stuck at choose password

i use XP
in englsih : Fail session opening : unknow user name or wrong password

The only thing I can think to tell you is to change the username on this window to be "postgres2" instead of "postgres" and see if it then lets you continue to the next window.

seems to work but on the next window ( initialise database cluster)
I put the same password , i got a new error message : the postgreSQL data directory must be on on an NTFS formatted volume.
if you wish to install the data directory on another type of partition ( wich is not recommanded, and is unsopported ) you must initialise the database cluster manually by running initdb.exe




I tried with the username postgres2 and postgres

You have to convert that drive to NTFS...

or if you have another drive that is already NTFS you can install PostgreSQL on that drive instead.
