Here are the notes from my uninstal and reinstal:
USER 'POSTGRES' COULD NOT BE CREATED. THE USER ACCOUNT ALREADY EXISTS
went into cmd and typed:
net user postgres /delete
"the command completed successfully"
went into re-instal:
ENABLE PROCEDURAL LANGUAGES:
CHECKED PL/PGSQL
ENABLE CONTRIB MODULES:
CHECKED ADMINPACK ONLY
INSTALED NORMAL - TO CREATING NEW ACCOUNT
As soon as the installation complete! came up the standard\dr watson error came up:
drwtsn32.exe - ap error
"the application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000142).
Click ok to terminate the ap"
I clicked "ok" which took the message away, and immediately reappeared as it did before.
I went forward to instal the psqlODBC from the local recommended in the pdf
The instal continued as normal and I clicked finish. Then restarted my computer.
Upon start up the drwtsn returned. I started pt3 and recieved this message:
PT3 was unable to connect to any postgresql databeses. please make sure you have postgresql running.
I went into the folder and restarted the service via the cmd.
I went into the task manager to check on the processes and there were six post
got this error:
STACK BUILDER ERROR
CHECKSUM VERIFICATION FAILED FOR: PSQLODBC.MSI! DELETING FILE....
I checked the director path and it was going into my local settings/temp - I clicked ok and redid the instal.
A friend from 2p2 suggested that dr watson is interfering w the postgres from working??? He also said that at this point pt3 support should handle the problem from here and that they should connect to my cpu remotely - agreed?
THanks -
