approximately how large is a 1 million hand pt3 db? 1gb?

is there a particular file that corresponds to the db? in pt2 there were .mdb files for each db so you could easily copy and also check the filesize.

There isn't one particular file, no.
A rough guide to the size is 1GB per 100k hands.
