Yes, just reinstall to that same location and everything will be back to the way it was in Beta 28.1

I also get this problem with 28.2. I had a similar one a while ago in a previous version and enabling then disabling "improve performance" checkbox in the HUD worked. Not the case this time.

I'm using Full Tilt.

The HUD is not present.
Upon exiting PT3 it crashes.
Import seems to be working ok.

Would you like a support request from me too?

I updated from 28.0 I believe. Skipped .1
Reinstalled 28.2 again today and things seem to be working right.
Not getting Auto-Rate icons to appear on the HUD though.

Is the Player Icon stat still configured in your HUD?
Do you see player icons in the main application?

If you still can't get it working please enable logging and play a short session.
Send us the log files via a support ticket and attach a screenshot of the table and the following file too:
C:\Program Files\pokertracker 3\data\layouts.pt3
(Please note which profile you use and which type of table you're playing)

I reported a ticket too. I upraded from an older version (March'ish 2009) to 28.2 and now my HUD doesn't show up on stars. The HUD process is running twice in task manager and there are no errors, etc..

Edit:
Interesting... I enabled logging in PT and restarted it and now the HUD started up the second I restarted the auto import process. I'm guessing the restart caused the HUD to operate normally?

Possibly - try disabling logging and restarting again and see if it still works.

I'll give it a shot in my next session. If it matters the HUD log that was generated was empty.

I was snooping around the main log file and did notice a few things completely unrelated to the HUD. Some of the queries execute in 1-2ms and others seem to take upwards of 150-200ms (mainly viewing the different tabs). For the sake of knowledge why does tab switching (pre-cache) hang for such an extended amount of time if the queries are being executed nearly instantly?

They don't hang enough for it to be a real concern (1-3 seconds with a session's worth of hands ~1k hands) but might as well ask.

An empty HUD log isn't a good sign - please update your ticket with any relevant information so that it's all in one place and we don't waste the support team's time. Thanks.

When you're switching reports, it depends on how much data is being retrieved as to how long the query takes; but then once the data has been retrieved it still has to be read and displayed so this will take longer than just the query time.
