where to find certain postgresql settings

Am trying to find some settings in postgresql 8.4 which are listed in one of yalls postgres tuning guides links from wiki.
will list them. what postgresql file do i find htem in and where. thanks

PostgreSQL 8.4 is currently in beta; I'm not certain that all of the settings are going to be brought across from 8.3, though I figured they likely would be. I'll look into this and get back to you.
