No Hud after 28.2

The HUD log should be written to as the HUD is updated, but if the HUD is working for you then it's not something you need to worry about for now.

Is the Player Icon stat still configured in your HUD?
Do you see player icons in the main application?

That was it. Must have shut it off while monkeying around earlier. Thanks for your help.

Just to keep you guys updated the HUD did work fine without touching the logging option. Definitely had something to do with restarting PT.

I have restarted PT3 several times but still cannot get HUD to work. I'm using the latest 28.2 download (I downloaded it 2 minutes ago, so I know it's up to date).

If I turn on tracking, where do I go to get the log file to give when I create my ticket.

I cannot find a setting for "Player Icon Stat". I see the following relevant settings in Configure HUD:
Show: Show on Table for Everyone (same setting for cash and tournament)

It depends where you installed PT. I think by default it's in C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3. Inside of that folder there should be a file called PokerTracker.log, and another one that I forgot the name of but it'll have "hud" somewhere in it and will be a log file too.

The stat you need to add is called "Player Icon" - see the HUD Guides in the Documentation for information on how to add stats to your HUD.

Has this been resolved? was hoping it was a one-time thing after i downloaded 28.2; but after a couple of days (of not playing) i'm still having the same problem of seeing the HUD but not having any statistics within them.

I play on pokerstars 6-7 cash tables at a time...
