Which password? For the forum?
On the login page there is a link to retrieve your password.

If you mean the postgres password; the default password is dbpass.
If that doesn't work, you can remove the need for postgres passwords: How To: Remove PostgreSQL Password

Yes, I was following the guide. Problem is that the 8.3 install never fully completed, so I can't do the uninstall as listed on page 4. I have XP.

Did you mean to reply to a different thread?

If you're talking about uninstalling postgres, you should be able to follow enough of the guide (How to reinstall Postgres) to uninstall it all - if there are any steps you can't do because things are missing then just skip that bit but do the rest.
