Chico support is trash

Postby dlperrio » Sun Nov 07, 2021 12:03 pm

Support for Chico is trash. I have to pay an extra $40 a year for a hand grabber to play there, fine I can live with that I guess.

I complained in the past the the tournament buyin amounts are slightly off. If I play a $6.42+.68 tournament it get recorded as $7.42 total. Same with all tournaments, the rake is added in twice. This also throws off the prize pool total as well. I did try to do a support ticket but after a week of back and forth with who ever was working the support ticket I gave up. They just kept asking me to do this and that I did everything they asked I just got the feeling they weren't interested in fixing the issues and wanted me to do all the work so I gave up.

I also created a support ticket because the hud over lay is messed up and don't appear on the table. I managed to get this right on my own. The overlay stats appeared outside the table and the only way to find them was to make the table as small as possible. I still cant find all of the mucked cards hud . Same that support asked me for this and that I provided it all no help.

7-max hud is not working right on chick, must think its a 6-max table cause it only displays stats for 6 out of the 7 players.

And I have also had problems with hud stop working on some tables. You can stop and start hud and it usually fixes that.

PokerTracker 4 imports the information from the hand history files that are provided by the poker site, or in this case a converter, and in the files you sent the converter is including the rake in the buyin so it gets counted twice. For example a $10 + $1 tournament is being reported like this in the sample you provided:

Tournament #48051247, $11+$1 USD Hold'em No Limit

I suggest contacting the support for your converter so they can correct this and report the tournament information as most other sites do which is (buyin) + (rake) and not (buyin + rake) + (rake).

I don't see a follow up from you in that ticket after our reply on 9th August 2021. With regards to the mucked cards its possible that they have been positioned outside the visible area of the HUD for that HUD profile. You can check whether they are positioned correctly by selecting 'Configure Mucked Cards' from the PT-icon menu. If you do not see all of the mucked cards follow the directions here to extend the HUD's visible area temporarily and see if that allows you to see all mucked cards. If so, drag them to where you want them and then select 'PT-icon > Save Layout'.

However please note that in the hand history files you sent the specific holdings of the players who mucked are not included in the hand histories so there is no way for PokerTracker 4 to know what cards were mucked therefore it will not be able to display those in the HUD at the end of a hand.

As per my reply above regarding mucked cards you can also check if there are any HUD panels outside of the current visible area. If you need further assistance you can reopen your ticket (#668167) on this topic just by replying to it again.

In PokerTracker 4 turn on 'Configure -> Options -> Logging Enabled' and then report that to us in a Support Ticket with your log file if it happens again:

I contacted chico converter they said the converter doesnt calulate rake at all, it only grabs hands and converts them. I'm pretty sure we looked at the hand histories and their correct. It is something that pokertracker is doing.

I now the hud stats are coming up out side the table area thats how I found most of them.

Another issue I've had is you cant make any hud profile your defualt profile for that table type. So I have to use the same hud profile for all table types. Yes I can change it but as soon as I change tables it reverts bacl to the default hud profile.

The buyin information in the hand histories provided by the converter are not correct as it includes rake twice. You can verify this for yourself by reviewing the files yourself with Notepad. I don't know where the converter gets that information from or if it's possible for PokerTracker 4 to workaround this bad data but you can follow up on that by replying in your existing ticket.

But the missing one might be OUTSIDE of the visible HUD layer (the HUD Layer is not the same thing as the table window) and to check that you would need to refer to the post I linked you to.
