NOTE CADDY CONSTANTLY CRASHINH

FYI

Installed Note Caddy a few days ago. From the start it began to crash. The message I get is Note Caddy quit responding. I have to enable it to restart Note Caddy.

The following is what I have done to try fix the problem...

1. Created a new data base and imported hands. Then i began using PT4 and Note Caddy again. After just a short time ( 15 minutes) Note Caddy shut down again. Same
process as before to get it going.

2. I moved the folder tmXXXXXX to the desk top for back up use if needed. Restarted PT4, reinstalled Note Caddy, after 10 minutes it quit responding. Had to enable to restart.
I played for 1 hour, I reset it 3 times which is far less then before the last change that I made.

I am still having problems with note caddy after doing the above listed things:

I decided to make another clean database and use note caddy. It still stops responding. Several different times Note Caddy and PT4 quit responding and I had to restart both.
I didnt notice any different in the crashes after i imported my back up hands.

Is there anything that you want me to try now?

The steps you have done already are the first couple of steps to troubleshoot this specific issue.

If even after doing these steps NC is still crashing, please open a support ticket and attach to it the log files so we can review them for some hints of what might be triggering this on your side.

On that ticket describe as much as possible the conditions when the issue was triggered.

- How many tables were open? What poker rooms you play on?
- What is the specifc HUD and definitions package you are currently using?

This together with the log files should help tracing what is going on and provide us with the necessary information.

On Windows open File Explorer and enter the following in the address bar:
%localappdata%\PokerTracker 4\Logs

Please attach also to the ticket the Notecaddy log files in the C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\AppsLogs\Tm90ZUNhZGR5

Hi, I have the same Problem since I startet using PT4. today I played only one MTT. First eveything seems to be fine, but thann the same error...(see it in the picture)
I made really a lot to fix it. In the end, I killed my PC and reinstalled it complete new. starting wicht windows, checking all drivers. No Poker Software installed, I installed the PT4 first.
New Database, etc....
The first game I started, same problem...

The bug is not reproduceable. Sometimes it works one or two hours and another time you can completley forget it.
I can restart note caddy and the HUD. And if Charma wants it, it work for one hour, or even for 2 minutes...

So far we were able to track the root cause of this issue still persisting to one of the badges used in the pack.

The way to avoid this error for now and since pokerstars does not allow to use badges either way, is:

- Make a Duplicate of the HUD you are using.
- On the HUD editor of the duplicated HUD do the following;
a. Remove all the lines to the right of the stats, the ones that are showing the "missing icon" ; They are seen as "NC.orderedbadge1..2..3.." in the HUD editor. Delete them all!
b. Apply the duplicated and now edited HUD to be the default HUD for use in the pokerstars tables.

Note: you can still use the badges system to review hand histories "offline". Close the PS client and if you use the original HUD only in the replayer, it will spark the badges with the info it contains.

Hope this helps and please let me know if doing these steps helped to run PT4 and NC together in a more stable way.
