start from scratch?

I have more hand histories in my processed folder than I have in my db. I think this occured when I installed an upgraded beta version. Also, I improperly imported tournament results for those that are in the db I used single table when it was 6max.

That being said...should I start from scratch?? We are only talking @ 500-600 sngs. If so is there any documentattion that would walk me through the process? Also, where can I find documentation on importing 6-max results (stars)?

Do you have a registered version of PT3? If so, you can just create a new database to import into.
If not, you will have to Purge your database before re-importing. (Note: Purge will empty your database, so you should be sure you want to do this before you continue.)
Both of these are on the 'Database -> Database Management' window.
To have appropriate tables import as 6-max, enable the 'adjust qualifying tables limits' option on the auto import tab -this will apply to manual import too.

Once I get a chance to review the report feature and get my HUD problems resloved I will likley purchase PT3 but as of now I am on Beta 15. Assuming I will purchase the product would you reccomend purging or importing? (once I have a reg code)...keep in mind that I have incorrect results from the 6-max.

If you want to do it before you register, you will have to Purge.
Afterwards it probably makes sense to create a new database to import into, then when you're happy it's always working properly you can delete the old one.

No, that will just identify hands as being 6-max, but the results still won't import automatically.
