having import trouble with FT.

Postby mjw006 » Sat Aug 16, 2008 6:45 am

hey guys.
I just played my first session on Full Tilt, so i set up PT3 (added alias etc.) and off it went. I started with 2 tables and it was working fine. So i just moved along and opened my normal 4 tables and it was importing stats for everyone and the HUD was working like clock work.
When i took a break, i noticed that my PT was only showing stats for two tables... And i had managed to get myself +1BI according to my account my PT was saying i was -1BI. It had only stored like 46 hands out of the 600 or so id played...? BUT, it has tracked stats for all the other players which are fine...
Im confused and don't know whats going on with it? am i missing something???

Your own stats will only ever be for the current session/table - this is by design, and is intended to show your current table image.
Other players' stats should be 'lifetime'. Does that explain the 46 hands thing?
Or is the auto import window saying it only imported 46 hands? Any errors reported?
IF you are looking in the main application reports for your stats, make sure you click 'refresh' after importing.

What version of PT3 are you using?

You may want to Try some performance tweaking.
Get Beta 15 (if you haven't already) and enable 'enhance HUD performance' on HUD Options.
Download and install PT3.
Please read the Beta 15 release notes first.
Have a look at:
Performance Tuning: Hard Drives
Performance Tuning PostgreSQL.
Also use the Database menu to cluster, vacuum, analyse your database. (or easier, use Manual Import tab to import a single file with the C,V,A options checked)

You said you set up an alias - do you really mean that you set up an alias, or that you used the Settings window to configure your player ID?

Please make sure you don't have any filters set - click 'Clear' and 'Refresh'.
If you look at the Sessions tab, can you see all your sessions?

I would suggest trying Beta 15 as there are several fixes over Build 2.

Ah, no - that's not right.
You have added yourself as an alias to someone else's player ID.
You only need to use the alias section if you yourself play at 2 different sites and you want those players' stats to be combined.
Remove the alias again, and your stats should come back.

Beta 15 shouldn't behave any differently to Build 2 in terms of the install.
What are the error messages?
Did you do the install by stopping PT3 and just installing over the top?

In Vista, make sure you run the installer as Administrator, and you may need to turn UAC off.

This is what i wanted. I play on two sites under two names. and under the first names database (the one i have been playing on for ages, i have added my new player name on my new site. Is this right?

And the beta15 is fine now.

OK, yes, that's right.
There were some issues with importing to aliased players in Build 2 - caused, IIRC, by creating the alias while importing.
I suggest stopping the import, un-aliasing and check you can see all your hands, then re-create the alias.
After this it should work fine.

ok,

so i did this and now i have all my sessions showing... which is good.~!!! :D

But. The two original table sessions still only say i played 46 hands.. All the hands for the other two tables are showing im pretty sure.
Now if i go to another players HH files and have a look, my HH's are there. BUT not in my stats. I don't get why it says that 'playerx' lost $$$ to me but in my stats it doesnt record that i won that pot?
