setting PT to record using PostgreSQL?

Postby Milo Jones » Wed Aug 20, 2008 8:38 pm

Hello. Can someone help me with the settings on Pokertracker v2 so that it will record hands using PostgreSQL?

I recently installed pokertracker v2, and to my understanding, it would be advantageous to set the program to record hands using PostgreSQL rather than Access. I have no hand histories, and so do not need to convert my database, but don't know what settings to select to tell PT to record hands using PostgreSQL. I'm I understanding this at all correctly? Can anyone please share some knowledge?

Yes, you do need to convert the database no matter if it's empty or not. See steps 2-5 in the online PostgreSQL install directions here...
