exporting from pt3 to pt2

Postby feltbot » Tue Aug 26, 2008 10:31 pm

i have seen this question answered elsewhere in the forums, but it just doesnt' work when i try it. I have tried importing the pt3 processed files from the pt2 import, and i have tried exporting the pt3 database to a file, and then importing that into pt2. Neither work: i get an immediate error message: unable to open file. how do i get my pt3 hands into pt2 ( i want to do this so i can check my ev on pokerevsoftware.com).

thank you!

The files in the 'processed' folder haven't been changed by PT3, so they should import fine - if you are having problems you may need a patch for PT2. What version of PT2 are you using, and what site are your hands for.

If you don't have all the processed files of the hands you want you can 'Export' them from PT3 using the Database Management screen.

i am using the latest version of pt2 (2.17.02). IT WILL NOT IMPORT HANDS FROM THE PT3 PROCESSED HANDS FILE.

For full tilt, the error message i am getting says: "Cannot find texas holdem hands or unable to determine poker site."

For pokerstars, some hands are getting imported, most are not, with the error message: "Cannot find flop" or "cannot find turn card."

Ah, you need to get a patch for PT2.
POKERSTARS PATCH FOR "No Flop", "No Turn"... ERRORS

i downloaded the patch and it did not work. First of all, it has no effect on my full tilt hands (which is where i play most). With the stars hands, i am simply getting a different error message now: invalid argument.

There may be a new patch I'm not aware of - I'm a bit behind on my reading of the PT2 forums.
If you can't find it, ask in that section.
