Freezing!?!?!?!?

PT3 (ver 3 build 3) was working fine then all the sudden stopped. When I try to restart it freezes up as immediately on start up. I have tried rebooting CPU also. Any help?

To be more specific, it happens when I click on the Texas Holdem tab. I have even tried uninstall/reinstall. Any ideas???

Does it happen as soon as you go to the tab, or is there a pause while it retrieves some data?
Are you able to switch away from the holdem tab as you start up?

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log file to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

It happens as soon as I click the tab. But now it is on the holdem tab at start up. It won't let me switch away at start up. The player window says populating, but nothing else.

I can not enable logging do to the fact that PT locks up immediately. I have to use task manager to close it.

I don't know why this happened so suddenly.

The 'enable logging' link explains how to enable logging without running PT3.
You might be able to change which tab it opens up on using the config file too, but let's see if there's anything in the log file which helps first.

It will not allow me to open pokertracker.cfg.

It's just a text file - you can use notepad or wordpad.

When i try to save my changes I get this error message. Am I a complete idiot?

On Vista You need to edit the file as Administrator - right click the link and choose Run As Administrator.

I got logging enabled. I have sent a ticket to support.

Hope to hear back soon. I'm starting to have multi-tabling withdrawals. I never realized how much I depend on these stats until they were tragically taken from me.
