PS don't import hands

Postby Tamerlano » Thu Jan 29, 2009 4:16 pm

Hi,
yesterday I downloaded the program and I tried to import hands history from PokerStars. I received a message of error regarding an hand. I cancelled that hand. I disinstalled the program and re-installed it again. Today I tried again and the program told me to have found 177 files and, after a long while, it came out with: 0 files imported. No message of error!?!?! and not any hands to analyze!?!?!
Is it maybe something correlate to the matter of regional settings? I'm in Italy.
Or what else?

Tks

First, get this patch:
viewtopic.php?f=39&t=14354

Then make sure you are letting PTS change your regional settings. Menu, Utilities > Regional Settings...

Also, make sure PokerStars is saving your hands in English.

Thank you very much for yr answer.
I have some more questions:

1) I downloaded and installed the program and the patchpts10504
Now you tell me abt the patchpts10504d
Have I just to install also this one, or have I to disintstall the previous patch before?

2) Why PTS import the Full Tilt hands in italian and not the same of PokerStars?

3) If the problem is the hands written in Italian, how can I recover all the previous hands saved in italian?

4) During my trials to make the program running properly, I installed and then disinstalled the program.
Once opened the second time, the programs told me that the hands of Full Tilt were already imported, and the third time all the hands were disappeared from the handshistory folder of Full Tilt?!?! Suggestions?

Thanks again

1. Just install the latest version over the old one. Do NOT uninstall.

2. It won't install other language hands unless the key words are the same. Flop, Turn, bet, raise, etc.

3. Email PokerStars and see if they can send you the hands in English.

4. Did you move the hands to a processed folder? If so, move them back to the Full Tilt hand history folder and Force the import again from the auto-import window.

Thank you very much for yr help, Mike.
Everything is going fine now! ;)

I wrote to support with some questions that I didn't find in FAQ and forums, but i didn't get any reply, maybe you are able to help me?
I'm going to use PT also with PLO and NLHE.
Have I to download three different programs and pay for each them 75$?
Is it possible to run these programs all toghether while I'm playing in the same time PLO and NLHE tournments and RAZZ ring games?
May I watch the stats all togheter with one program or have I to run the three separately?
Do HUD run only with NLHE?
If yes, is there any program like Poker Hud for RAZZ and/or PLO?

Many thanks again for yr kindness
regards
Roberto

I don't know where you heard that. See each product's Purchase link for pricing:

Yes.

PT3 for Hold'em has a built-in HUD. For Omaha you need PA HUD. All of these programs can run at the same time. There is no HUD available for any Stud games.

Thank very much again, Mike.
I tried to purchase all the three programs but the sistem didn't allow to me to put all in the cart. I'll do separately.
Another problem.
Tonite I wanted to examine the stats and appeared this error msg regarding the FTP stats:

SELECT ERROR: SQLSTATE=22012
[Microsoft][Driver ODBC Microsoft Access]Division by zero(null)

The results were that there weren't (in the GENERAL INFO window) the starting hands. All the other stats were ok :?:

During the importing of hands appeared another error msg abt an hand without rake because of a lack in connection.
Are these two facts connected?
Poker Stars stats were all ok.
Any suggestion?

Tks

SELECT ERROR: SQLSTATE=22012
[Microsoft][Driver ODBC Microsoft Access]Division by zero(null)

Which program caused this error, PT Stud? Can you isolate (using Date Filters on the Preference tab) which FTP session or sessions caused this?

Yes PTSTUD.
Yes I did it. There are three days data that cause that message of error.
I tried eliminating the files from the folder, but nothing changed. The data were always in the stats.
What can I do about?

OK, try this:

1. Go to Utilities > Export Hand Histories to File... and export the three days of hands that cause the error.
2. Go to Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options and then click the Advanced Purge... button. Use that Advanced Purge window to delete only the hands played on those three days.
3. Go back into the PTS ring game stats window and verify that the error no longer happens.
4. If the error is gone, re-import the hands from the exported files using File > Import Hand Histories...
