Some notes on the new features:

New Feature: Pacific
Pacific Poker is putting out a new client that saves hand histories on its own, so a hand grabber will not be necessary. PT3 should import these with no problems once they are available, but some work may need to be done to automatically locate the hand history directory and so forth. Also, our TableTracker servers aren't quite ready for Pacific support just yet, but they should be up soon. Once they are up, this version should have no problems with it.

New Feature: Hud Profiles
You can now create multiple profiles for your Hud usage. You can export them and share them with your friends. With your export comes all your custom statistics as well, so all your friends need to do is import the file and they have your complete Hud profile. You can easily duplicate profiles between cash and tournaments and you can easily switch the profile that a table is currently using. This feature will be expanded in the future to allow you to select which profile to use with your choice of table types by default.

New Feature: Table opening for OnGame, Cereus and iPoker
This particular feature has not received a lot of testing, so it may prove to have some bugs. OnGame and iPoker *must* be launched through the PT3 interface in order to open tables. If your site performs an update, it might not work properly until it's restarted again.

New Feature: More Details
A new way of displaying information to you has been added to PT3. This method allows us to format data in an easy to read format. There is a new 'Details' tab available, and under the 'Sessions' tab, there is a new item in the drop down that shows your standard deviation, as well as your results by day of week and time of day.

New Feature: Hud on the Replayer
You can now have the option of having the Hud display on the replayer window. This is a great feature for session review. Not only do you get to relive the action, but now you'll see the stats just as you did when you made your decisions at the table. They are filtered to only show those stats you had at the time of the hand.

This release adds a number of highly requested features. We hope that they help make PT3 more valuable to you. We've also fixed a number of bugs, which should make PT3 more stable and reliable to you. We've also striven to get you these new features in a more timely manner than in the past. We will continue to strive for this pace. We are actively working on expanding our development team and streamlining our quality assurance and testing process. We want to thank those of you who take the time to work with our support staff to solve problems and locate bugs. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Thanks also to those of you who have submitted hands to us, but we still need more. We need hands from the following sites:

  • B2B
  • Betfair
  • Bodog
  • Cryptologic
  • Entraction
  • Microgaming Network
  • Tain Network
  • Tribeca
  • *Old* Ultimate Bet
  • World Poker Exchange
We need hand histories in all formats and both cash and tournament hands. For sites that use database files or single xml files or whatever, we need those as well as any datamining formats and PT2 exported formats. The more hand histories we get, the easier and faster it will be for us to get support added for the site. The sites above are not listed in the order we will be adding them. We have been going by http://pokerscout.com and adding the sites by size. We may continue to do this or we may skip around now that the unsupported sites are pretty similar in size. To submit your hand histories, please follow this link.

So just for clarification, do you support the not-yet-available Pacific format, the HandGrabber format, or both? Or are they the same?

They should be nearly identical, and PT3 should import them both with no problems. Pacific gave me some early test histories and PT3 can import those, so hopefully it will be a smooth transition.

Such fantastic news!

Do we have an ETA on the table tracking? Will it be a case of another beta?

For Pacific? Once the servers are ready, beta 25 should work fine.

Great work on the replayer HUD!

It would be nice to:
  • "sit here" in the replayer so that the hero is always in the same seat (like when I play online)
  • Have an option to show pot equity if known.
  • resize the replayer window and make it bigger I have a huge screen and this tiny replayer window!

What consequences has this change:
Cache: Will no longer allow tournament tables in the cash cache and vice versa
?
Thanks

This is a protection mechanism. Using cash tables in the tournament section will result in the cache creation taking an extraordinarily long time to complete, and the cache would end up being inaccurate anyway.
